The Rolex "Zephyr" is a style of vintage Oyster-Perpetual and Oyster-Perpetual Date watches that sport a distinct dial design and bezel style. The Zephyr dial features a cross-hair motif that divides the dial into four different sections and also lacks the usually-seen applied markers. In addition to the dial, the Zephyr bezels feature unique adornments not seen on other Rolex models, making the Rolex Zephyr an eclectic favorite amongst collectors for its stylish approach and limited production numbers.

The wonderful case retains full and symmetrical lugs that show minimal signs of previous polishing and only gentle signs of use. The original "Zephyr" 14K yellow gold bezel retains its unique adornments in crisp condition with almost no signs of use present. The case retains its yellow gold Rolex twin-lock crown. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The original and truly beautiful gold "Zephyr" crosshair dial is in impressive vintage condition, showing some nominal signs of age but no real damage or discoloration. The original tritium lume plots have taken on a rich golden patina and all remain intact when inspected under U.V. light, though the 5 o'clock plot exhibits light degradation. The original tritium yellow gold alpha hands match the dial perfectly and show no degradation under U.V. light inspection.
