One of the largest evolutions for the Rolex Datejust model lineup was at the end of the 1970s with the introduction of the first "flat dial" Datejust. The movement was vastly upgraded to the Rolex cal. 3035 quick-set movement. These Datejust variations are often referred to as "transitional" as they still feature the more classic acrylic crystals and tritium lume whilst housing many advancements.

CASE & BRACELET
The strong case features very thick and symmetrical lugs that retain factory geometry and exhibit minimal signs of previous polishing or signs of use. The 18K yellow gold fluted bezel is in very crisp condition with very gentle wear from use present. The original Rolex two-tone Jubilee bracelet with 455 end pieces retains 23 links that show minimal stretch and will fit up to an 8 1/4-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original champagne dial is virtually flawless, showing no notable or visible signs of age. The tritium lume plots have achieved a beautiful golden-yellow patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly within no degradation present under U.V. light inspection. The metallic gold date wheel is original with open 6's and 9's.

None. The watch is recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
