This vintage ladies wristwatch from the 1960s is very pretty with a white, very lightly-patinaed dial. The dial features white gold Breguet numerals and hands, and is signed Elgin 19 and has the shockproof and unbreakable mainspring logo. The white 10K RGP bezel has a swirl design that becomes the fancy lugs. It still has the original crown that says Elgin and comes with the original bracelet.

The original bracelet is a white 1/20 10K RGF top. Each link of the bracelet features a subtle horizontal texture and two little polka dots.

The case is made by Watch Star Case Company, and the movement is cased and timed by Elgin National Watch Company. The caseback is stainless steel and the bezel is 10K RG.

The American movement is Elgin caliber/grade 832 and has 19 jewels and has been adjusted. It is shockproof.

This watch comes with the original light steel-blue colored presentation box that reads "Elgin" on the front. The box is a curious shape, reminiscent of a sailboat shape. The top inside of the box is a cream-colored satin that reads in powder blue and gold writing, "Elgin, 19 Jewels, American made & Guaranteed Shockproof". The bottom on the presentation box where the watch would be displayed is a very soft powder blue velvet and comes with the original guarantee card! The back of the card says it is Model No. 23654C13 and was purchased from Mack's Jewel Box on June 5, 1963!

This Elgin wristwatch is a very classy timepiece that would accentuate nearly any attire, formal or casual. It has a dressy-quality thanks to its incredible sheen! The white dial with white gold plated bezel and white gold filled textured bracelet complement each other quite well! It is a great every-day watch while adding a timeless elegance to one's ensemble.

This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
