The Thin Blue Line inlaid into a channel near the top of this ring represents the concept that the police hold line that keeps society from descending into violent chaos. It also stands for the honor, courage and sacrifice of America's Airmen and Sailors.

The inlay is a combination of crushed and powered lapis lazuli stone mixed with a jewelry quality resin which is applied into a channel carved into the ring.

Once fully cured, the inlay is ground, sanded, and polished smooth. Extreme care is taken to ensure the silver details surrounding the inlay are perfectly preserved.

HISTORY

Every ring is made from a genuine Morgan Silver Dollar, hand selected from only the most reputable coin dealers.

This very silver was taken from the Comstock Lode in Virginia City, Nevada, roughly 30 miles from our studio.

The US minted this coin from 1878 to 1904, and then once more for a single year, 1921.

Unlike our traditional Morgan Silver Dollar Coin Rings which come in two different finishes (bright polish or rich patina), the inlay prohibits us from applying a patina.

SIZING

This ring comes in sizes 9 through 16, including half sizes. However, unlike most of our other rings, this ring cannot be resized due to the inlay.
